PEDAL PADDLE TOUR

Spring of 2022 I began a route to circumnavigate the globe, aiming to hit some of the most notorious whitewater rivers on the planet.

Over 1 year of biking I was able to knockout 13,000kms, 22 countries, and 20 plus rivers on what I dubbed the Pedal Paddle Tour.

ITINERARY

In 2022, I began from the most eastern point of mainland Europe and headed west. Working my way through Europe to Asia I biked 13,000 kms and crossed 22 countries.

SCHEDULE

The first leg of the Journey lasted 1 year and 1 day. Due to closed boarders in Burma, I had to end the first section Early in Nepal. The plan now is to continue from where I left off when the boarders reopen and then eventually begin the second leg in South America.

BUDGET AND SPONSORS

This was a self-sustained trip and therefore the majority, if not all, was run off of hard work and savings. Sponsor helped alleviate some of the cost by gear, transportation and nutrition provisions.

WORK

Throughout the expedition I assisted outfitters and tourism companies with copywriting and consultancy. I helped with website translation and optimisation and experience design improvements within their service.

Additionally, the majority of the trip consisted of hands on product testing for the gear I was using while out in the field.
